Paul Scholes has his say on Pogba’s world-record fee
Manchester United will head back to Manchester on Monday following their brief trip to China.

“Had to change up Pog haircolour for his new team #ManchesterUnited”, said Criztofferson, the barber, on an Instagram post which showed him cutting Pogba’s hair in his Miami salon.
Earlier on Thursday, United boss Jose Mourinho congratulated the club’s board on doing “fantastic work” during the transfer window, with the signings of Eric Bailly, Mkhitaryan and Ibrahimovic representing “75 per cent of the job”.
Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri silenced questions on the future of Paul Pogba, as Manchester United and Real Madrid continue to circle.
“If you ask me, at that time his agent was asking for a lot of money for a player who did not play first-team football except once or twice”.
Paul Pogba was in scintillating form last season, helping Italian club Juventus to a domestic treble.
The agent of Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has suggested that his client could leave Barcelona, which has supposedly alerted Manchester United.
Scholes, who departed United in 2013, saw Pogba’s potential as a teenager at the club but believes the 23-year-old is not worth a world-record fee.
Scholes played with Pogba during the France international’s spell at United and, though he believes he is a talented player, he does not think his former team-mate is worth such a sum.
“For that money, you would need a player who scores 50-plus goals a season, like Ronaldo or Messi”.
“He is another quality addition so whatever happens with Pogba, we will be in good shape”, Allegri said.
“We went for profile and we have two more options in front of us and we’re going to close one”. “We are calm. We have three faces to fill the profile”.

“Apart from that, we know other clubs are also involved and for us it is not, ‘are we going to win the race or lose the race?’ It is not a race, it is just the market”.
