Paul Student Choked Teacher Until he Passed Out
The older student is accused of slamming a teacher against a wall, choking him and then slamming him onto the floor after the teacher tried to break up a fight.

Police say the teen then punched the teacher in the face several times.
“Teacher stated he blacked out losing consciousness during the strangulation”, the report reads.
Principal Mary Mackbee wrote in a letter to Central parents Friday, saying one of her employees was taken to a hospital for treatment.
“The fact that these incidents involving students assaulting teachers across the county have been increasing at a really alarming rate”, Choi said.
“The suspect has not been arrested and no criminal charges have been filed with the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office at this time”, Commander Beau Pryor with the Arroyo Grande Police Department said Tuesday in a media statement.
The 15-year-old, whose name has not been released because of his age, was charged Monday with fourth-degree assault and obstructing the legal process.
The incident is the latest in a string of violent assaults against teachers in St. Paul schools.
The handbook classifies a crime against a staff member as either a Level 4 or 5 offense.
Science and mathematics teacher Aaron Oo is always on the hunt for inventive ways to bring textbook concepts to life for his students. The Lucia Mar Unified School District has no immediate comment, a district spokeswoman said.
There has not been an expulsion in St. Paul schools since 2009.
