The actor expressed disappointment on social media after the incident. And as news broke of Mr Khan’s latest hold-up, Nisha Biswal, the U.S. assistant secretary of state for South and Central Asia, sought to suggest that nothing was amiss.
In April 2012, Khan was detained at the White Plains airport near NY for over two hours by immigration officials.
The first time Khan was delayed at the Newark Airport in New Jersey for almost two hours by immigration officers. He was visiting Yale University to speak with students. “The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom”.
Commonly referred to in the Bollywood film industry as “SRK” the actor is not the only high-profile Indian to be detained.
“I fully understand and respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at United States immigration every damn time really really sucks”, he said on Twitter. “India”, “My Name is Khan”. He’s bagged 14 Filmfare Awards so far along with several other accolades.

Earlier, divulging how he is training his son before he starts his formal education in films, SRK had said, “I am showing Aryan a lot of films because he will be going to a film school now”.
