Pebble announces ‘Pebble Time Round’ smart watch
The internal processor rests behind a 2.5D Gorilla Glass display, and can be used to schedule calendar events, send text messages, even answer incoming calls, and houses a built-in microphone for voice reply messaging. Unlike the Pebble Time, the Time Round is only splash resistant, not water resistant up to 30 metres. As the brand advocates, the 3rd smartwatch to follow the Pebble Time brand has got a round have to face rather than the establish one which the two Time and Time Steel make obvious.

But come its November release date, the Pebble Time Round smartwatch will be greeted by Android Wear and watchOS rivals – a stark contrast to when the original Pebble launched uncontested in 2013. The Pebble Time Round claims the title of thinnest and lightest smartwatch in the world at just 7.5mm and 28 grams respectively.
Two band sizes are available for the Pebble Time Round smartwatch – 14mm and 20mm. It doesn’t matter if you’re paying $17,000 for a gold Apple Watch Edition or $99 for a plastic Pebble, the watchface (or to be more accurate when talking smartwatches, the screen) you’re looking at is square. The lovely, always-on, e-paper display discreetly camouflages the smarts within. To compensate for that, Pebble notes that the battery can top up very quickly – a mere 15 minutes of charging can power the watch for a full 24 hours. Orders can be placed on Pebble.com, Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.
Certainly, with a week-long battery, Pebble Time Round may well have been the flawless smartwatch, although you can expect to be in for a surprise. Do any have a Pebble watch?

“It’s the first smartwatch that looks like a classic wristwatch and furthers our mission to create useful technology that blends into your everyday life, not the other way around”, Pebble CEO and co-founder Eric Migicovsky said, as quoted by The Guardian.
