Pebble’s website countdown rumored to be for its new smartwatch
Pebble is hinting at a new product announcement happening tomorrow, which may be another smartwatch to add to its growing collection. Our source has informed us that Pebble will be jumping on the round smartwatch bandwagon and will be releasing one of their own. It landed for Pebble Time in August.

There have been a slew of smartwatches released recently but it seems that Pebble wants a slice of the action, as it is reportedly planning to release a round-bodied smartwatch on September 23.
The report claims that the circular-faced Android Wear rival will launch in two size variants, both with a smaller-than-average 0.9-inch display.
The device is tipped to ship with a metal finish, although the report claims it hasn’t had access to any photographs. It will also come in two sizes, presumably designed for men and women – like the Apple Watch.
If you visit Pebble’s website in the next couple of days, you’ll be greeted by a countdown timer at the top of the page.

What we know for sure is that Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky is scheduled to appear at TechCrunch’s Disrupt conference on Wednesday, so perhaps he’s going to let the cat out of the bag live on stage (in a metaphorical sense). Stay tuned on Wednesday for more news.
