Pebble Time Price Gets Permanent $50 Discount

That’s where the biggest benefit of the Pebble lies; the price can be over half that of the Apple Watch, and you’ll still get numerous same basic features.

Fifty dollars off the Time or the Time Round is a welcome discount, but it puts Pebble’s watches in the price zone they needed to be in the first place. This means that the smartwatch is available for $149 Dollars ($199 CAD) for the Pebble Time and $199 USD ($266 CAD) for the Pebble Time Round respectively.

Alongside these price changes, Pebble has elaborated on the success of its Pebble Health app that launched last December. While the price cut on the Pebble Time can be fully attributed to the device’s age, the $50 discount on the Time Round is a bit more surprising.

The Pebble has always been a unique smartwatch, sporting an e-ink display instead of an LCD screen, which offers way better battery life, but isn’t touchscreen-capable, nor does it display as many colors as an LCD screen does.

One watch that’s not getting a price cut is the Pebble Time Steel, which continues to sell for 0. The Pebble Time Steel, which was £229.99, now costs £199.99, while the Pebble Steel is down from £179.99 to £119.99. The company also adjusted the prices of the watches to account for Value-Added Tax and import fees, so that the price tags of the watches in the European Union and United Kingdom are more closely aligned with those in other regions.
