Carson Wentz is the latest quarterback selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the draft.

Pederson addressed the trade of cornerback Eric Rowe, a second-round pick in 2015, to the Patriots for a fourth-round choice in 2018.
It seems like everyone always wants to know where you were when “such and such” happened, and according to NFL Network broadcaster, Andrew Siciliano, Carson said “I was laying in the middle of a cornfield hunting”.
Wentz was still taken No. 2 overall, after the Eagles traded with the Browns to move up to that pick, but it could be assumed that Wentz wants to prove to the Browns that he should not have been passed up, especially after comments made by Paul DePodesta about Wentz’s potential.
“We’re worked on his feet, we’ve worked on a little bit of the upper body mechanics, we don’t feel like it’s a slow release”, said Pederson. “It’s something now that we’re prepared to do and looking forward to Cleveland”.
“I’m walking in at like 5:45 this morning and he’s already in the film room”, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said. They recovered some of the draft picks they lost by dealing Bradford to the desperate Vikings, who lost Teddy Bridgewater for at least the 2016 season following a severe knee injury. “We feel like we had to find ways to improve this football team in an unconventional manner”. It’s something that we believe in.
That tells me that Pederson doesn’t wield a whole lot of power at the NovaCare Complex. Sure. But right now, where we are, we got a good football team around him, great defense, special teams. Even though Wentz’s numbers aren’t exciting, the team looked the best with him under center as opposed to former quarterback Sam Bradford and current backup Chase Daniel. But during his entire time with the university’s team, he became accustomed to drills and plays that are very similar to what National Football League teams use. However, there are still going to be those saying that it’s too soon to start Wentz.
“Young quarterbacks usually experience some bumps in the road, and I’m just going to take them in stride”, Wentz said. I can’t get caught up in the speculation game. “I just know having been in the position that when quarterbacks get hit early it affects you the rest of the game”. However, reports began to emerge that the Eagles were considering starting Wentz if his injured rib, which caused him to miss the final three games of preseason, had fully healed. Never mind that in his very first pro game, back on August 11, he lasted 29 snaps before two ribs were broken. Consistently during the workouts, Wentz would get a good pre-snap read, identify the secondary coverage and then quickly get the ball in the hands to a receiver. I felt ready for a while now.
Ertz has been here three years and has played with five different quarterbacks.

Ben Roethlisberger was 13-0 as a rookie in 2004 and helped the Steelers reach the AFC championship game. We can’t go out there and tell Carson to win this game.
Barbre returns at guard, but the team upgraded the right guard spot by signing earth-mover Brandon Brooks. The game is a must-win, and if they don’t beat the Browns, the Birds might as well not even play the other 15 games. “That’s what those guys did back early in their careers with the Roethlisbergers and the Flaccos and the Ryans and quarterbacks like that”.
