Pedro agrees personal terms ahead of Manchester United move
Manchester United believe they have edged closer to sealing a deal for Barcelona star Pedro Rodriguez, with chief executive Ed Woodward reportedly arriving in Barcelona yesterday in order to complete the transaction.

Woodward travelled to Barca ahead of the Spanish Super Cup second leg between Barcelona and Atletico Bilbao at the Nou Camp on Monday.
With United’s options in attack looking as thin as they are currently, there is little question that he will become one of the focal points of Louis van Gaal’s side, should Woodward leave Spain with the winger’s signature.
The only remaining stumbling block is for United and Barcelona is to agree on a transfer fee, with the Catalans demanding Pedro’s release clause of £21.2m is met in full.
Manchester United target Pedro has dropped an immense clue that he could be playing in the Premier League this season, in the wake of talking about his future, the Metro report.
The transfer window shuts on 1 September.
“I understand a deal between the player and United is already in place and all that is left is for United to put the 30m euros on the table”.
“It’s a difficult situation, it’s hard to be focused”, Enrique said after Barca went down 5-1 on aggregate to Athletic Bilbao in the Supercopa de Espana.
“The truth is that I had a good chance to play [in the Super Cup]”.
