Pedro denies asking to leave Barcelona
Barcelona’s technical secretary Robert Fernandez claimed Pedro wants to leave Camp Nou, adding that the thriller against Sevilla could be the Spanish footballer’s last game with the club.

The 28-year-old was named among the substitutes for Barca’s Uefa Super Cup victory over Sevilla on Tuesday, despite Neymar’s absence through illness, but came off the bench to score the victor in extra time.
Barcelona could claim six trophies this calendar year if they are successful in the Super Cup, before they go to the Club World Cup in December, but Luis Enrique said that his next target was the next game.
“To get to European finals you need to earn respect and so attack the opposition which is what we did”. I will continue to play those that I think are best for each match.
Andres Iniesta and Javier Mascherano also praised Pedro, although the player admitted that “the coach has decided not to count on me” after he was not picked in the starting XI despite Neymar’s absence.
“Robert has made some very unfortunate declarations”. Things looked even rosier for Barca when Luis Suarez took advantage of some poor defense to make it 4-1. “He shouldn’t say that, I barely talked with him“, Pedro said. “I’m looking forward to the end of the transfer market so I’ll know exactly what I do have”.
Yes, there are nice challenges on all sides. “Luis Enrique preferred other players and I have been waiting a lot of time”, Pedro explained.
FC Barcelona forward Pedro disputed reports that he was asked to leave the team, but cited “difficult situation“. “I don’t basically understand what he’ll decide on but what ever he’ll have our support”.
“And if I go I will go with my head held high having always given everything”. I know that I am and will always be for Barca, people should not doubt that. “I am grateful for all of the experiences I have had at the club and for the fans”, he concluded.
“The coach and myself and the president want him to stay“.

“We knew that this would be a hard game and this really showed the merit of the team”.
