“We don’t have Samir Nasri for four or five months”, Pellegrini said.

David Silva, Wilfried Bony and Vincent Kompany are ruled out with midfielder Samir Nasri expected to spend at least three months on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury.
Silva has already sat out seven City games after being hurt playing for Spain and Pellegrini explained: “It’s a long injury because it’s not a muscle injury”.
Pellegrini said: “It’s a long injury because it’s not a muscle injury”. It’s an ankle and for different reasons he can’t be 100 percent fit. “It is important also he can demonstrate in every game because I am very happy with the way he is playing so far that he is an important player and will be more important in the future”.
“If a player is not comfortable I think that he can’t play”. His latest calf injury is his 11th such problem since the start of the 2011-12 season, while there have also been absences for groin and hamstring problems in that time.
“I think that for me it is never a pressure to be top – you always want to be top as you only depend on what you can do”.
Aguero is widely regarded as one of the best centre forwards in the world game, with City a much more risky proposition with him in their side.
And while manager Manuel Pellegrini is optimistic both could return for next Saturday’s home game against Southampton, each could miss Wednesday’s meeting with the Serie A winners and Champions League finalists.
Pellegrini believes that gives him little choice but to start the Argentina global, who he will be relying on to tell him when the time has come to come off against Liverpool.
“One of the most important things in important games is to have a cold mind, not a cold heart but a cold mind”.

“He must start in one game, he must start on Saturday because we don’t have Bony so it’s important for the team to be with Sergio”.
