Sanders did not acknowledge that Clinton was going to leave the convention as the nominee, or that she would become the first female presidential nominee of a major party. “It would be nice to speak at the Democratic National Convention”.
“It’s sort of a tough sell for Sanders because in one sense there’s a lot of skepticism of super delegates in the Democratic Party but if you look at what Republicans are doing this year, I imagine they wish to God that they had super delegates”, Hudak said. Will you speak at the convention?

Clinton, who served as a NY senator, won the Democratic primary in April with 57.9 percent of the vote.
Donald Trump says Hillary Clinton is “a world-class liar”.
The Clinton Campaign says the Ohio Democratic Party event will take place at the Cincinnati Museum Center at 10:30 AM.
On Capitol Hill, Democrats nudged Sanders to go further. The nation, she said, needs an economy that, “works for everyone – not just for the rich or the well-connected”. At the time of the 2009-2010 health overhaul debate in Congress, a state waiver was seen as a potential vehicle for a government-run system in Vermont. (Jacquelyn Martin/AP) Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro is seen as a vibrant up-and-comer in the Democratic Party and could help Clinton make inroads with Hispanic voters. He is not a progressive firebrand, but that may be less of a demand than once thought during the heat of the Clinton-Sanders fight.
The circle is wider than those first three names, and others will be vetted, several Democrats familiar with the process said.
Both presumptive presidential nominees are attempting to unite their fractured parties ahead of the nominating conventions.
