Indiana Governor Mike Pence will make campaign stops in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake on Thursday, August 4. Pence’s travels this week included stops in MI and Wisconsin. He delivered remarks from the Soldiers and Sailors Monument before leading the ride.
“Let me say as your governor and as your neighbor and commander-in-chief of the Indiana National Guard, thank you for supporting our troops when they’re overseas and when they’re at home”, Pence said.
Pence told the crowd that IN is leading the way when it comes to education, the state budget and Medicaid. After expressing his condolences to the family of the fallen officer, Pence spoke on the challenge officer’s face throughout the nation.
Friday began for Pence, by taking part in the annual Governor’s ride for ABATE, a motorcycle rally to raise money for the Indiana National Guard.
