Speculation had been building that Cruz would announce his vice presidential pick ahead of Indiana’s May 3 primary, in an attempt to win what’s become a critical primary, after Cruz and John Kasich teamed up to force a contested convention. “I mean no one would’ve predicted the way this election has gone”, she said.
The pair appeared together at an event in IN, which Cruz and the national anti-Trump forces see as their last chance to keep Trump from getting the 1,237 delegates necessary for the GOP nomination. “Okay? It’s a record”.
He also said residents of his state should make their own decision when it comes to how they vote next Tuesday.
Tyson was convicted of the sexual assault of a Miss Black America contestant in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1991, and served jail time in the state.
“You deserve to know exactly where a candidate stands”, he said.
“Interestingly enough, Cruz is nearly saying something similar to what Hillary Clinton has been saying about Trump”, said Sean Savage, a political science professor at Saint Mary’s College.
“I’m not against anybody, but I will be voting for Ted Cruz in the upcoming Republican primary”, Pence said on an in radio show on Friday.
“Indiana’s very important, let’s face it. The Hoosier state is playing a very important role in this Republican primary contest”.
“Donald Trump hasn’t won this nomination yet”, Fiorina insisted, blaming the belief that Trump is inevitable not on the math that proves that, but on campaign season fatigue. We’ve got three candidates to choose from and a lot of our republicans. Cruz and his vice presidential pick, Carly Fiorina, have no plans for campaign stops in New Mexico or Oregon.
Wilson warned of “down-ticket decimation” in other Republican races if Trump wins the nomination. “I think that’s what it signals”.

In an Associated Press-GfK poll conducted in December 2015, Republican voters were more likely to say they had a favorable than an unfavorable view of Fiorina by a 47 percent to 20 percent margin, with 32 percent unable to give a rating. Her only loss of the night was in Rhode Island.
