Donald Trump and his running mate, Mike Pence, are sending some mixed signals fewer than two weeks into their partnership.

Pence, a two-term governor of IN who joined Trump’s ticket two weeks ago, is planning a two-stop trip to MI on Thursday.
At the time of Pence’s selection as a vice presidential candidate, Indiana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Cardwell praised the governor’s efforts to make the state a national leader in job growth, education and investments.
