Pence gives no further details on Trump’s immigration plan
Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence tried-and failed-to offer some clarity on Donald Trump’s immigration plan on Sunday’s Meet the Press.

To begin with, Mike Pence had to be asked several times by Chuck Todd about Donald Trump’s immigration plan.
However, Trump saying he will release his returns “upon completion of an audit” but he knows full well that is code for “Trump will not release his tax returns under any circumstances”.
Pressed on if that would be before November’s election, Pence replied, “Well, we’ll see”.
Todd questioned Pence on the tax returns in response to the governor’s observation that Hillary Clinton has been less than transparent on the issue of her emails while serving as secretary of state. Todd asked Pence “if you guys were as transparent” with the returns, would that be a better attack on Clinton.
“We’re going to enforce the laws of this country”. We’re going to end catch and release. “He said no amnesty and path to legalization if people want to get legalized or right they need to leave the country”.
Pence suggested earlier this summer that his tax returns would be a “quick read”.
“I promise you, when my [federal financial disclosure] forms are filed and when my tax returns are released, it’s going to be a quick read”, Pence recently told WABC’s Rita Cosby.
Pence recently told ABC Radio that his family had “not become more wealthy as a result of 16 years in public service” insisting, “we’re a middle-class family”.
Trump has been hit on all sides for not releasing the returns for months.
“With regard to classified information, she either knew or should have known that she was placing classified information in a way that exposed it to being handled and to being made available in the public domain, even to enemies of this country”, Pence charged.
