The Republican convention rolled though its third rocky, unpredictable night, one highlighted by the arrival of vice presidential nominee Mike Pence.

In Indiana, Pence has done little good – other than staying previous governor Mitch Daniels’ course.

English said the Republican convention this week might have looked chaotic to many outsiders, but he prefers to call it “a very interesting” convention.

As Cruz, who finished second in the primaries, neared the end of his remarks, delegates began booing and continued until he left the stage. “Ted Cruz said you can vote your conscience for anyone who will uphold the Constitution/ In this election, there is only one candidate who will uphold the Constitution”.

Trump’s speech will cap a four-day convention that has seen its share of staging and technical issues. Clinton and Democratic leaders will offer their response next week at their party’s convention in Philadelphia.
