Bowl season is upon us and the smorgasbord of college #Football games is set to get underway on December 17.

In many ways the College Football Playoff is no different than the Bowl Championship Series, a highly subjective system that relied on poll voters to pick the top two teams. As fun as that was, there is just too much at stake and the committee has spoken: lose fewer games and the rest will take care of itself.
If there is a pattern to be found in the committee’s work over three years it may be this simple: For the most part, the teams are ranked by the number in the loss column.
