Pep Guardiola criticised by Arsene Wenger over Bayern Munich departure announcement
The Spaniard is considered one of the elite coaches of world football and a number of Premier League clubs such as Manchester City and Manchester United are believed to be eyeing him as their next boss.

Arsenal aren’t doing too badly at the moment, after their latest win over Man City put them in a strong position in the Premier League title race.
Pellegrini’s proposed switch to Chelsea raises the prospect of a 2016/17 Premier League season that pits the recently appointed Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool against Pellegrini at Chelsea, Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, Guardiola at Man City, and Mourinho at Manchester United.
City have been long-term admirers of Guardiola and will make an approach with Manuel Pellegrini also expected to leave at the end of the campaign.
I think personally I don’t like that managers come out so early-it’s not so good for their own team or for others who are going through a hard patch.
“You have a good connection (with the players) and that is the most important thing to be a good manager, but I don’t think that a professional player will have any problems if he is listening or reading about things that may happen next year”.
A victory at St Mary’s on Saturday would be a fourth league win on the bounce for Arsenal and could perhaps see them move up into top spot in the English top flight if Leicester slip up against Liverpool.
A splendid array of attacking talents, plus the prospect of a hefty transfer budget are factors likely to appeal to Guardiola, while suspicions remain that current boss Manuel Pellegrini has embroiled a lavishly gifted squad in a scrap for the Premier League title they should be coasting towards this season.
He said: “I don’t know the word pressure or afraid”. It’s never your decision so you never know. So you don’t think about that. “Pep Guardiola will work here (in England), I don’t know if it is next season here (at City) or at another club”.
“I’m thinking about winning the games, trying to finish this season and the four competitions we’re involved in and to win titles. And after that it doesn’t depend on you”.

Following Monday’s 2-1 defeat at Arsenal, Pellegrini was asked about the speculation and if it was a distraction.
