Pep Guardiola’s Surprise Admission About Sergio Aguero
Aguero, who is now serving a three-match domestic ban for elbowing West Ham United’s Winston Reid, scored the latest of those trebles in the 4-0 thrashing of Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday evening to extend the Citizens’ ideal start to the campaign.

The Argentinian is targeting another semi-final appearance in this season’s Champions League but admits he wants to win the trophy before the end of his contract in three years time.
Since joining City from Atletico Madrid for £38m a little over five years ago, Aguero has found the net 118 times in 150 league and cup appearances.
For manager Pep Guardiola, however, Aguero’s role is about much more than scoring goals.
Thorgan Hazard reportedly impressed Guardiola on Wednesday night.
The £21m signing from Borussia Dortmund slotted in alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling in midfield, and following the 4-0 win, he underlined the “incredible” talents of Aguero. “I’ve improved in my game near the box and scoring goals, with Pep I will get even more chances”.
Sergio Aguero makes his mark against Borussia Monchengladbach, tallying three goals in a 4-0 Manchester City victory.
“The first half perhaps I wasn’t so happy, I lost a lot of balls but the second half was a bit better”, Aguero said in quotes reported by the Independent.
“I’m really happy with the new manager”.
City’s slick play created the opener for Aguero after just nine minutes and he added a second from the spot after Gundogan was fouled.
He added: “It has been a ideal start for us, with great performances over the last few weeks and some very special games”.
Iheanacho got on a pass from fellow substitute, Leroy Sane to score from close range. “I hope to achieve that at some point as it’s really important for any player”.
“Tough challenges are waiting for us, but we are all excited to prove ourselves and do our best”.
