Guardiola said Seluk must apologise or it would be over between Toure and City.

I don’t why I – or Yaya – must apologise because I didn’t say anything special. “What Guardiola wants is not possible”.

Guardiola, who was Barcelona boss when Toure was sold to City in 2010, said of the player: “It was so hard for me to put him out of the Champions League, so hard”.

Toure said: “After 14 years playing for Les Elephants I have chose to end my adventure playing for the Ivory Coast. From that moment he was out”.

After weeks without replying to Seluk’s comments, Guardiola finally spoke. So hard. I know him and I know he’s a good guy. Pellegrini signed a new contract a year ago and then he gets pushed out for Guardiola to come in. “Pellegrini was a gentleman”. “Yaya is a player who has made history for Manchester City”. “It is not normal and it is not right to come to England and to get rid of the few English players”.

Before the situation is resolved, Toure according to Guardiola will remain outside of the Manchester City first team.

We can safely assume that Pep Guardiola will not be receiving an apology from Yaya Toure’s agent any time soon.

“But the day after he (Seluk) spoke, he was out”.

After achieving remarkable success at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, the Catalan giant joined City this summer charged with the task of securing the club’s place among Europe’s elite and claiming more domestic silverware.

Guardiola was furious about the way modern players fail to keep their agents in check before making comments about the managers in the media.

Toure has found himself out of favour this season at Manchester City, with new boss Pep Guardiola starting him in just one competitive match.

“Maybe it’s a new era now, the new period changing, but I’m an old guy”. If he has a problem call [City director of football] Txiki Begiristain, the club, and they can talk.

He has won 2 Premier League titles, scored the winning goal in their 2011 FA Cup triumph and was an integral part of the team which won two League Cups under Pellegrini.

Seluk also said Guardiola should apologize to the midfielder if City did not win the competition without Toure.
