Pep guardiola tight-lipped on manchester city move for claudio bravo
Speculation that a deal could be imminent has now increased, after Bravo was pictured at the airport in Barcelona yesterday reportedly preparing to board a flight to Manchester.

Confirmation of that deal would appear to push former number one Joe Hart closer to the exit door, although fresh reports from The Mail on Tuesday (23 August) suggest that lead suitors Everton have now withdrawn their interest due to £135,000-per-week wages that would see them pay approximately £7m just to take the England worldwide on a season-long loan.
The former Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers coach said: “I’ll go and speak to them about that – Pep and Joe – sooner or later”. ‘Barcelona were the first ones a week or 10 days ago to announce the contact with Manchester City but, I’m sorry, when the deal is complete or not complete I will be open to answer.
Barcelona confirmed at the weekend, following Bravo’s involvement in his side’s 6-2 win against Real Betis, that an agreement had been reached with Man City to take the 33-year-old to the Premier League.
England’s goalkeeper has no interest in moving overseas to reported suitors Sevilla or Borussia Dortmund.
The pair were seen in deep conversation as City trained in front of media ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League play-off second leg against Steaua Bucharest. Joe Hart and Yaya Toure have a chance to play tomorrow.
“I play alongside him, I will keep working, whenever I get my chance I will do my best for the team, work with the team”.
“Unfortunately we had a penalty awarded against us at a key moment when I felt we were in the ascendancy and it knocked us sideways”, the Welshman said.
He said: “We have the beginning of an agreement with Manchester City for Claudio Bravo”. Against West Ham it is not possible for him to play. The first thing I am looking for from the goalkeeper is to save. That is why I am confident that it will remain this way and we will have solidarity and help each other. “That is why I am here”.
“I think Sergio is a great striker, everyone knows that”, Iheanacho told a news conference.
Hart has been City’s first-choice goalkeeper for the past six seasons, contributing to two Premier League title wins, two League Cup successes and their 2011 FA Cup triumph. He has to help us in the first pressure, running a lot, in the build-up movements. They say “I don’t like the ball, I prefer to punish you in the counter-attack”.
‘Until now he’s doing it and, when that happens, you are involved in defensive tasks and the offensive’.
“He is always ready”, said Guardiola.

But Guardiola has made it clear he wants him for his ability with the ball at his feet and his distribution – he came out on top in the La Liga stats tables for goalkeepers last season.
