Pep threatens to end Yaya’s Manchester City career

“When Toure left the club to come to City, Guardiola told him he was leaving to a shit team”, Seluk told Radio Barcelona. The row which developed overshadowed Toure’s separate decision, announced via social media, to retire from global football with Ivory Coast.

“He must apologise. If he doesn’t, he won’t play”, Guardiola said. If he does not, he won’t play.

“It was hard to leave him out of the Champions League squad but [the] day after, his [agent] went to the media”.

He said Seluk did not have the “courage” to call him but said Seluk could always apologise via the media. From that moment he was out. “I know him, I know he’s a good guy, but it was hard for me as well to put Aleix García out”, he added.

“Until he doesn’t speak, Yaya is not going to play.” he said. If he has a problem he should speak to people at the club. If not, then he hoped that “Pep has got the balls to say that he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya”.

“Guardiola is the one who has come to Toure’s team and is not Toure who has come to Guardiola’s team”.

‘Manchester City have already established a nice lead in the Premier League, but I know Pep and he will not allow complacency in the dressing room’. I live in Europe so I can say whatever I like and Guardiola can’t stop me. But I’m not surprised.

But Seluk did not look to be cowed by Pep’s demands.

“The truth is that Guardiola protects the players who have agents he is friends with”.

Yaya Toure is free to join any Premier League club in January, with Manchester City prepared to allow the midfielder to leave for a direct rival. These are the biggest players of the club. He listed a series of extraordinary complaints against the former Barcelona boss, referring to the the manner he succeeded Manuel Pellegrini in the summer and then replaced goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The 33-year-old equalised in the 2014 League Cup final win over Sunderland before scoring the decisive penalty as City reclaimed the trophy at Wembley versus Liverpool this year. Seluk popped up again in the spring, this time deploring the timing of the team’s announcement that Guardiola would be a new manager of the team.

At first time, when you go to someone’s house then you should treat them with respect.

“And they said that he could not go to another club in England”.
