It is understood that Klopp intends to fly into Liverpool today and finalize his deal, with the Reds hoping to unveil the former Dortmund manager on Friday.
It is going to be hard, however, with City having Begiristain on their side to convince Guardiola to move to the Premier League.
He said: “Why would Klopp go to England?”
Chuck in the internal strife from last season – which saw a team doctor of nearly 40 years march out of the club in the fall-out – and Guardiola’s reluctance to commit, and it all makes for the ideal story.
Guardiola’s contract situation has been subject of intense speculation, with the former Barcelona manager only tied to Bayern until next summer.
The World Cup victor also moved to explain the transfer that saw him leave Borussia Dortmund for Bayern in 2013, and regrets not denying his motives for leaving were financial at the time.
“He needs the strength to resist the pressure”. I would love to be the face of Bayern.
Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze believes he has made progress with his game and has matured after a hard couple of seasons.
“Right now we’re in October and there is still no decision”. Maybe he will win the treble and his contract will be renewed, I don’t know.

“Mr Klopp, if you look back, was fantastically successful, exceptionally successful at Dortmund. If he is available, Bayern have to react”.
