While Pepsi ideal doesn’t have a new flavor, there will be a more traditional Pepsi-made soda, with Real Sugar. We’ve officially reached the “future” from “Back to the Future Part II“. Yep, this Pepsi ideal isn’t going to taste any different than a regular Pepsi.

We’re fast approaching October 21, 2015, a date that a specific group of nerds born in the 70s and 80s have eyed for most of their lives.

Pepsi fans asked and we heard them loud and clear.

Pepsi is part of a growing list of companies joining in on the fun of the original film’s 30th anniversary.

Jaws 19 is, of course, the movie that was playing at the Holomax when Marty McFly traveled to the future and arrived in 2015. Each 16.9-ounce bottle will be filled with Pepsi and be priced at $20.15.

One of first brands out of the gates is Pepsi, which today announced the arrival of “Pepsi ideal”, the soda that Mr. McFly ordered in the second film in the trilogy.

In celebration of the event Universal has released an official trailer for “Jaws 19″.

This is just the latest in a line of stunts, including the release of hoverboards and Power Laces, created to promote Back to the Future Day. Only 6,500 Pepsi ideal bottles – which will come in a collectible case – will be sold to fans in the United States.

Now if only we can get the Cubs to win the World Series, that would be a few insane prediction. Bottles will be available for purchase online on October 21, though eager fans will also be able to grab them early at New York Comic-Con.
