Ozil’s current deal expires in June 2018 and Arsenal are eager to ensure the 27-year-old stays with the club after that, but the Germany worldwide believes there is more than enough time to talk about a contract extension in the future.

Yeah he is vital for us, especially when we play that deep.
“There is no rush to sign a new contract”, he told Kicker, as reported by The Independent.
“He is the main threat and he gives a good pass at the right moment and he can see the difference so we try and find him”. He has also found the back of the net four times.
“We could have got more goals against City with a bit more will in the final third because obviously they open up”.
This willingness to surprise opponents could well be the catalyst for a run at the Premier League title, but Arsenal still have a long way to go. The Gunners take on Southampton in their next league game.
