Percy Harvin doubles down on comments about his Seahawks’ tenure
I think it was just a misunderstanding between him and I and I know it didn’t work out with the Vikings, the Seahawks or the Jets, so I hope the best for him out there in Buffalo.

The stories attached to Percy Harvin following his departure from Seattle were, in a word, unflattering, with reports of altercations between teammates Doug Baldwin and Golden Tate accentuating his already-checkered past. “They wanted to show they were already established having made it to the NFC Championship the year before I got there”.
Jealousy and insecurity led to fisticuffs in Seattle.
Harvin told the Buffalo News he felt Tate and Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin “were acting like kids” after Harvin joined the Seahawks.
“It was a constant thing”.
Tate was mostly diplomatic in his response, though couldn’t resist getting in a small dig at his estranged teammate. Like I said, we thought everything was fine.
Buffalo’s uncertain situation at quarterback is sure to frustrate Harvin at some point this season, and I expect we’ll hear complaints about how much (or little) he is getting the ball.
Harvin declined to discuss the details of the fight with Tate but did talk about rumbling with Baldwin during the next year’s preseason.
He also admitted to the newspaper that he fought Tate the week before the Super Bowl. It didn’t end there though, as Baldwin – who, per Harvin, was referred to by teammates as “Tough Doug” or “Angry Doug” – and Harvin then went after one another last August.

The Bills were smart to not fully guarantee Harvin’s contract beyond the coming season, so they won’t have to be hampered for very long by an underachieving and injury-prone locker room cancer. Harvin, for instance, got into a reported fistfight with teammates as a member of the Seahawks. Harvin was traded to the New York Jets, and since he was involved in both fights it seemed like he was the problem. He said the last time he spoke with or saw Harvin was during the team’s White House visit in the spring of 2014, soon after Tate signed with the Lions in free agency. “If not, we’re good without him.’ Finally, I wanted to say something”. I don’t necessarily think we have a bad relationship, or didn’t at least. “But like I said, I wish the best for him”. I’ve got no hard feelings for him. But the next time Ryan does not embrace controversy or a player that may bring baggage will be the first time, so his presumed stamp of approval on the signing of Harvin should come with a big grain of salt. I want to see everybody ball out. “I think he’s kind of had it unfair, I guess, and he’s trying to fix his image, and he just wants to tell his side of the story”.
