Perfect Result – Mauricio Pochettino Overjoyed At Spurs’ Thrashing of Stoke
Tottenham eased to a 4-0 win at Stoke with two goals from Son Heung-Min followed by efforts from England pair Dele Alli and Harry Kane, the latter breaking something of a drought by his standards.

Both Alli and last season’s top scorer Kane shook off their Euro 2016 hangover during an excellent second half showing, with the latter finding the net for the first time for club and country since Spurs’ 2-2 draw against Chelsea on May 2.
“I know him very well”, he said.
“It’s good memories. For the first one, Chris had the ball, he looked into the middle, I just ran, we made good eye contact, then he produced a great pass and my left foot just touched the ball and it was a great finish”.
“He is very powerful and I think he is a different profile for us, so he will give us another option offensively”. Mauricio Pochettino believes Tottenham have shaken off the hangover of last season’s meltdown in the Premier League title race as they prepare to challenge on multiple fronts.
But Pochettino revealed Danny Rose, who also suffered a hamstring injury on global duty with England, will miss the Stoke game and next week’s Champions League opener against Monaco.
“Starting Saturday we have seven games in 20 days and a insane schedule until Christmas”.
Three quick points from Stoke 0-4 Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday.
‘I watched the Manchester derby it was a very good, passionate game.
It took Kane 87 appearances to bring up 50 league goals for Spurs, and he wants to better that to get to 100.
“Maybe, Mr Moss, who was the fourth official, was a little too keen to emphasise and enforce the new directives, which we have been exposed to on several occasions already this season”.
“It is true that after Stoke we felt it was possible, hard but possible”.
“Our power is not on the financial side, our power is our facilities, the way we play, it is in the way our supporters show passion”, he added.
“You can criticise Arsenal’s failure to make an impact on the tournament, but what you can’t take issue with is the fact that they established a dominance over Tottenham in the past 20 years by hitting the Champions League season after season”. The confidence and the belief is important for the team and the players, but then you need to deliver.

“Okay, I was out of the technical area, which by the letter of the law is a sending-off offence”.
