Person of Interest Canceled: Find Out When The Final Season Will Air
After 5 seasons and dozens of eerily prophetic storylines, CBS is bringing Person of Interest to an end, Mashable confirms.

Person of Interest’s season premiere airs Tuesday, May 3rd at 10:00pm ET/PT. After the premiere, POI will air new episodes twice a week – on both Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:00pm, beginning with a new episode on Monday, May 9th. After CBS announced the final season would air two new episodes a week, cancellation looked even more likely. Again, to have a show that goes on as many years as that has, it’s very hard to complain.
Person of Interest season 5 kicks off on Tuesday, May 3 at 10pm with the second episode airing on Monday, May 9, at 10pm.
In Season 4 of Person of Interest, the show ended on a cliffhanger.
Person of Interest creators and executive producers Jonah Nolan and Greg Plageman have been steadfast with the direction of the series, keeping fans glued to the TV set episode after episode every week. “The only heartbreak there is how much good story there was to come if it were to have continued”.
“We’re extremely excited to be able share this final season with the fans”, they said in a joint statement, going on to thank everyone for their support, as well as the cast and crew for making “this subversive little paranoia-inducing cyberpunk-thriller”.

When the show was renewed for a 13-episode fifth season, observers speculated that could be it for the series. Starring Michael Emerson as Finch, Jim Caviezel as Reese and Amy Acker as Root, the fifth season will see them on the run as they attempt to fight back against their enemies. “We can’t wait for you to experience this thrilling and final chapter”. Television, was left off the network’s fall schedule for the first time this season.
