Typically known as “Merseyside Red” in the PES games, Liverpool will now be known by their proper title in the game’s upcoming edition, giving players a more authentic experience when choosing the Reds.

With that in mind, Konami have signed similar deals with Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool FC to become an official partner of the clubs, the latter of which must particularly sting for EA Sports head Peter Moore, who is a big fan of Liverpool.
“The partnership will allow us unrivalled access to work with Liverpool FC to ensure the players are brought to life in our products and we will also work together on future promotions”.
As both Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 and Federation Internationale de Football Association 17 will be releasing in the same month, whichever one can impress soccer fans more is the one that’s going to be successful.
The four-year deal begins with the forthcoming PES 17 game, and will see Dortmund players, kits and facilities accurately represented within the game, including the famous “Yellow Wall” stand in the club’s Westfalenstadion home ground. “We can not wait for our fans to see the Reds line up in the new game in all their glory”. Classic Liverpool players such as Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen will also be made available in the MyClub mode.
