Pete Rose sends Donald Trump signed baseball
Trump tweeted this image of a baseball signed by disgraced MLB legend Pete Rose on which he wrote “Please Make America Great Again”.

Donald Trump responds to a question during a campaign stop Sunday in West Chester, Ohio.
Although polls put Trump behind the leader in the state race, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, the real estate mogul is still setting his sights on the winner-take-all primary Tuesday, and he’s cutting it close. “That’s a smart fit for Trump’s voters”.
Rose, who was a Cincinnati Red from 1963 to 1986, was banned from playing baseball in 1989 for gambling on games.
“I really loved it”, he said.
So it looks like Rose just lost a majority of his grassroots supporters in his quest to get into the Hall of Fame. Rose, FiveThirtyEight.com notes, “likes to lampoon his situation” and “in certain circumstances he’ll sign baseballs with “I’m sorry I broke up the Beatles” or ‘I’m sorry I shot JFK'”.
But Rose remains persona non grata with the league, which in December 2015 denied his latest bid for reinstatement.
Despite baseball turning a blind eye to the three times World Series champion, the Reds announced last January of retiring Rose’s number 14 jersey.
So Rose’s endorsement might be somewhat tongue-in-cheek.
Following that announcement, Trump called for Rose to be admitted into Cooperstown tweeting, “It’s time, he has paid a big and very long price!”
As The Washington Post’s Justin Wm.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s to not believe anything that Pete Rose writes on a baseball. On the other hand, Trump is demolishing Florida sentor Marco Rubio in his home state as he leads the way with 44 percent.
