Andre, 42-years-old, is now participating in the televised dance competition Strictly Come Dancing and made the comments during an interview.
“There were 13 kids”.
Andre, 42, only recently found out that Savvas Andrea, 82, was sold by his family as a child in order to bring in enough money to put food on the table.
We’re so sorry to hear about the hardship experienced by Peter’s dad – but inspired by this wonderful story of how Savvas turned his life around for him and his family, including lovely Peter!
Peter Andre has a holiday home in Cyprus and is a regular visitor to the island. I didn’t know this until recently. And he said, “Yeah, but son, that was our life”‘.
He has two children – Princess and Junior – from his marriage to Katie, and he and Emily have a daughter, Amelia, who was born in January 2014.
Peter said his father has been a source of inspiration for him, adding: “He came to London not being able to speak a word of English, learnt a trade – he became a barber – and he still owns a barber’s shop in Paddington”.
While former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote and Giovanni Pernice are going to be dancing the American Smooth to the Whitney Houston’s power ballad I Have Nothing.
Jamelia and Tristan will be hoping their Quickstep to 1960s classic I’m A Believer by The Monkees can keep them in the contest.
As well as this extraordinary revelation, Andre also took the opportunity to dismiss the “Strictly curse”, which allegedly strikes because celebrities fall in love with their professional dance partners having worked with them for an extended period of time.
