On Jan. 26, the grounds crew mistakenly painted the Broncos logo in the wrong end zone at Levi’s Stadium while readying the field for next Sunday’s big game.
How come all the end zone pictures are just the Broncos for #SB50? Panthers fans who show up wearing team gear will receive $2 off their zoo admission.
But Levi’s Stadium tweeted out photos of the field prep showing the end zones.
Cam Newton and the Panthers should feel right at home with the end zone below.
But all was fixed by Thursday, with the Panthers getting their end zone.
“Maybe our panthers at the N.C. Zoo can offer some tips on taking down a papier-mache bronco or two before Super Bowl Sunday”, said Pat Simmons, director of the N.C. Zoo.
During the AFC title game, the Broncos had orange letters, but there was no dark blue. Grounds crew painted the logo on the wrong side.
