Peyton Manning denies allegation of HGH use
He’s been very open about thanking those who supported him during the Deflategate situation, and he wanted to be sure he threw Manning his support in light of the news that emerged on Saturday night.

“I am recanting any such statement, and there is no truth to any statement of mine that Al Jazeera plans to air”, he said.
Sly, who claimed the Guyer Institute shipped human growth hormone to Manning’s wife Ashley to protect the five-time NFL MVP, recanted his statements Sunday.
The documentary, The Dark Side: The Secret World of Sports Doping, touts “extraordinary claims that raise questions whether an American sporting hero, Peyton Manning, is linked to performance-enhancing drugs”. Those allegations are not true. Added Peppers: Its completely erroneous and I think its irresponsible journalism, in my opinion. Another player named in the report, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, said he has looked into legal action only to be told it wouldnt be worth the cost. I have a lot of friends, I have a lot of support, and he is the same.
Al Jazeera’s explosive investigation said the Denver Broncos quarterback, one of the NFL’s biggest names and a star on Madison Avenue who has appeared in numerous commercials, was one of several high-profile athletes who were supplied the drug.
Manning vehemently denied the report, calling it “garbage”. “Under no circumstances should any of those recordings, statements or communications be aired”.
Tom Brady was quizzed during his weekly appearance on WEEI in Boston this morning, and the conversation inevitably wandered onto Peyton Manning’s front porch, and the HGH shipment that did or did not appear there.
The owner at the Guyer Institute didn’t want to go on camera, but he did provide a written statement that reads in part the allegations against Manning are “fabricated” and “not based in fact”.
“For the record, I have never used HGH”.
HGH in itself is not illegal, but it is banned in many professional sports, including the National Football League since 2011.
Not almost enough. Al Jazeera owes Manning, and maybe other players, a retraction-and an apology.
Manning said that he can’t believe someone would carelessly release a report at this magnitude on air without any valid evidence. The NFL collective bargaining agreement ratified in 2011 banned the use of HGH. “But it really makes me sick”.

Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts, Manning’s former team, also issued statements saying the claims were bseless.
