Peyton Manning likely to miss two more games with foot injury
The 39-year-old met with foot and ankle specialist Dr. Robert Anderson Monday while the consultation revealed a more severe injury than originally thought.

“He did a really good job”, Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said.
In Massachusetts, Brady is busy preparing for the league’s best defense but did lament Manning’s left foot injury that will keep him sidelined at least until mid-December. “We’ll proceed from there and will continue to support him as he does everything he can do to get healthy”.
Manning had a 0.0 passer rating in Week 10, a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, with four interceptions. Next Sunday the Denver Broncos are set to play the undefeated New England Patriots.
The former Minnesota Vikings first-rounder will serve as the Broncos’ third QB behind starter Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemian, a rookie from Northwestern. Osweiler will be starting against the Patriots and he will get the chance to play more moving forward, as Manning reportedly will miss time while trying to get healthy enough to start again. After the cast is removed, he will begin additional rehabilitation on his injured foot. Osweiler won his first National Football League start, throwing for 250 yards and two TDs with no interceptions in Denver’s 17-15 win at Chicago.
According to ProFootballTalk.com, Peyton Manning says no. The site reports that Manning plans to continue tying his cleats next year. That’s disappointing. There are going to be things out there and things said, but I know what’s going on.
Osweiler said he hasn’t spoken with Manning about his injury or the timeline for his return.
Forget about the 17th instalment of Brady vs. Manning. But still, they are several games behind the Broncos, so if Osweiler can hold it down for just a few weeks, and win the (should be) winnable games, they will easily win the division.

The Broncos did not allow Manning to participate in meetings or practices last week, and he did not travel with the team to Chicago, instead having treatment at the Broncos’ suburban Denver complex. And go back to Gary Kubiak and what he wanted to do in the beginning of the season with the play-action game and boot legs, that may be a better fit right now with Brock Osweiler than it was with Peyton. Manning was also bothered by a sore rib cage in that game.
