Peyton Manning Not Involved As Brock Osweiler, Broncos Prep For Bears
Former Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase is calling the plays for the Bears, so expect him to be creative in his game plan against Denver this weekend.

There are plenty of subplots that will develop during the game when the Denver Broncos play at the Chicago Bears Sunday morning (KOIN-6 (CBS), 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET).
Last week the Denver Broncos took on the division rival Kansas City Chiefs.
Those circumstances are the injuries driving Peyton Manning to the bench and that Brock Osweiler and his 54 career National Football League pass attempts over four seasons will be making his first National Football League start.
The Chicago Bears host the Denver Broncos this Sunday afternoon. He loves to throw to his running backs, and when he’s not tossing it up to Alshon Jeffery, he’s usually throwing it to one of them.
In any event, it is a novel experience for the Broncos, who will have a new quarterback starting for the first time in three-and-a-half years, and are being asked about the end of Manning’s career.
The main problem as of late has been Manning’s ability to read opposing defenses with the precision he has shown over the years. “The first route I saw him run I was like, ‘Yikes!’ I thought I was pretty fast”.
“Defense wins championships”, Marshall said.
Otherwise, Chicago will just sit back in coverage and wait on throws, like teams have done all season against Manning.
So far 2015 has been a coming out of sorts for Jay Cutler, as he is finally living up to all of the hype he came with when the Broncos traded him to Chicago in April of 2009.
“Its great to have those, certainly because just rotation, one, and then your different personnel packages”.
After the Bears released Hanie in the winter of 2012, he signed with the Broncos the day after they traded Tebow. There’s a lot to question in this game as the Bears just made a tough opponent look foolish in the Rams. I thank Mr. (Pat) Bowlen for the opportunity. Now, my life’s changed and I’m here.
Speaking of the Bears, I have heard that they are doing well in these past few weeks.
It’s possible. Osweiler was named the starter on Monday, so he’ll a full week of first-team reps under his belt heading into the matchup. But the way Gase always balanced his demanding approach in Denver with a sarcastic sense of humor made it easy for Hanie to predict he would have a positive impact on Cutler with the Bears. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Davis catch a deep ball in this one. After taking a $4 million pay cut over the winter, hes thrown for just nine touchdowns with an NFL-high 17 interceptions.
EVEN UP: The Bears have a chance to pull to. He’s been working hard for this moment as one better believe he’ll be playing for much more than just a win on Sunday. Which would be a sign of resilience for a team that started 0-3. The third-string quarterback enjoyed a banner preseason – albeit against backups – that included a 92-yard, game-winning drive at Houston. But the Broncos need to rush for 125 yards in Chicago or they could be in trouble.
Surprisingly, this injury is not the worst to happen this season to the 39 year old quarterback.
“I could go give him all of the work, mentally, that he needs”, Head Coach Gary Kubiak said.
STANDING THEIR GROUND: The Bears held their own against a fierce defense last week and they’re about to go up against another.
The Broncos come in allowing a league-low 277.3 yards.
