Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is now the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards. It finally looked like Peyton Manning had snapped out of it last week, throwing for 280 yards and a few touchdowns [that used to be a mediocre game for him, just last season].

Manning is the first QB to have a rating of 0.0 in a game since 2007, when Chris Redman did it. Here’s the full list of players to accomplish the feat. To put things in perspective on a more modern note, the veteran hurler registered negative 6.60 fantasy points Sunday.
The win began a seven-game win streak for the Broncos and started a five-game losing streak for the Chiefs, but head coach Andy Reid told the media this week he isn’t looking back.
Since signing in 2012, Manning has guided the Broncos to one Super Bowl appearance and three division titles. “As long as we continue to work and improve, that’s what we said all along, that’s what we said we were going to do and that’s what we will do”. Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions beat the out-of-sorts Green Bay Packers 18-16 to claim only their second win of the National Football League season. His record-setting day also being the worst game he’s ever played is a testament to the unbelievable career he’s had – but the key word is “had”. When Manning breaks the record, it will be a reaffirmation of his greatness and confirmation of his standing as one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks.

“Obviously, our defense has done a great job all year”, said Manning. Nobody gave the Chiefs a chance, but they came out and played inspired football and handed the Patriots their worst loss of the season. “To see them out on the field that me and Reggie (Wayne) actually played on and played for, that’s even better”. Edge racked up 15,610 scrimmage yards, 4.0 yards per carry, and 91 total touchdowns in 11 seasons. First round draft pick Shane Ray will be playing in his first game since injuring his MCL in the Cleveland Browns game.
