In that clip we hear the character, portrayed by the original cast member, talking about his father – Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker – and his sister – Leia Organa – and how they all have The Force with them.
When asked by the Associated Press about Luke’s whereabouts, the filmmaker simply praised the good questioning and replied “I can’t wait for you to find out the answer”.

Princess Leia is seen fighting Boba Fett, while Luke and Emperor Palps get to go toe to toe at the end, Return of the Jedi style. I found the biggest “problem” with this is it’s so realistic my son was desperate to yank the device off the wall and pretend to be Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi or Darth Vader!
In 2013, it was announced that a new “Star Wars” movie was going to be made without Lucas, but instead would be directed by JJ Abrams. In the midst of the endless questioning about the character’s no-show, there emerged footage from a 2005 episode of USA television show “Dinner for Five”.
“That won’t happen again!” he says. The figure is sporting a cybernetic hand – much like Skywalker – so it’s assumed (but not confirmed) that this is Hamill’s character. And having the fountain of youth taking me back to 1977. “It’ll be an old cornball movie, like World War II movies”.
