There’s a slight chance that a PlayStation 4 release could tip the scales once and for all, if Sony Computer Entertainment decides that a Western localization is overdue.

Sega announced during their recent ARCS Festival 2015 event this weekend that they’re bringing the MMORPG title Phantasy Star Online 2 to the PlayStation 4, 4Gamer reports.

Originally, the game only came out for the PC and PS Vita platforms back in 2012. You can get around it if you’re really keen, but what a botheration.

Nevertheless, the PS4 version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will be playable later this year during the Tokyo Game Show 2015. The new enlargement is termed “Reborn: Episode 4”.

Fans have been asking Sega for a Western version of the game for a while now, but it doesn’t seem like “Phantasy Star Online 2” will be coming to North America anytime soon.
