Rio de Janeiro, Aug 12 (IANS) Michael Phelps said on Friday that he was grateful for the chance to finish his glittering career on his own terms after setting a new Olympic record in Rio.
Five minutes after the tweet, his message was re-tweeted nearly 400 times and loved more than 1,100 times.
Part of confronting that challenge has led to Lochte’s success as one of the all-time greats in swimming. “And after prelims and semifinals and seeing where I was sitting, when I came in (to the stadium) tonight I was like ‘I want to get that medal stand'”.
