Philadelphia Eagles are a mess and NFC East is up for grabs
Two NFC East foes clash on Thursday Night Football as Week Three of the 2015 season kicks off with the 1-1 Washington Redskins travelling to the 0-2 New York Giants.

The Giants defense is about to get a much-needed shot in the arm on defense. Bryant is expected to be out anywhere from either eight to 12 weeks and Romo is expected back as soon as their Thanksgiving day game against Carolina.
Redskins defensive end Kedric Golston knows the Giants are going to be desperate after an 0-2 start. The Giants need to be the ones who dictate the game offensively. His Giants teams are 15-6 against Washington, but he has thrown only 23 touchdowns in those 21 games.
He’s staring down the barrel of a season with no playoffs for the sixth time in seven years, and in a market as demanding as the one he works in, he understands that’s not good enough. Left guard Justin Pugh, who played right tackle in his first two seasons, shifted to left tackle after Flowers left the game against Atlanta. Dallas and Philadelphia both suffered their losses, they were just different in nature and significance.
Most of the focus on Washington’s offense in the 24-10 win over the St. Louis Rams has been about the running game, specifically, DC Pro Sports Report’s Redskins Rookie of the Week, Matt Jones.
Have hope Giants’ nation, we all know what happened the last time the Giants went 0-2 and played the AFC East in 2007.
You could tell Tom Coughlin had been thinking about it because when asked about the four-play goal line stand against Washington in Week 3 of 2007 that allowed the season to pivot from disaster to the Super Bowl victory, he made a quick correction. But handling Tavon [Austin] was a good start for us, but the challenge week-in and week-out, there’s going to be a somebody on the other team that’s going to change your approach. But we have to finish the game.
The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t looked almost as impressive as they did during the preseason.
This week we will see another rivalry game, as the Redskins will be traveling to take on the Giants on Thursday Night Football. We’ve got a team that everybody has a lot of confidence in around here.
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning may be without one of his top offensive lineman this week.
Instead, Kelly’s custom-built team has a total of 70 rushing yards in two games.
“It would have to be a lot”, he said in response to what it might take him to get the green light against the Redskins. Though it is not like he’s much better as he was the man under center when the Eagles lost three of their final four games in 2014.

After investing a 2014 first-round pick in him, Cleveland needs to find out one way or another what it has in Manziel, and sending him back to the bench once McCown is healthy only delays that discovery once again. The Giants still don’t have a take-charge pass rusher on their defensive front, so it will be imperative for them to, if they can’t disengage from their blocks, get their hands up in an attempt to knock Cousins’ passes down. Against the vaunted Cowboys’ offensive line, the Giants limited Dallas to 81 yards on 22 carries (3.7 yards per carry). Cousins also threw a attractive touchdown pass to WR Pierre Garcon. The Raiders’ quarterback was sacked just once, and he consistently found holes in the Baltimore defense in getting the ball to receivers Amari Cooper (seven catches for 109 yards) and Michael Crabtree (nine for 111). Jordan Reed has so far managed to remain on the field, and is the leading receiver for Washington with 13 receptions.
