Hatchett and the Hatchett Law Firm announced Monday they will be representing the family of Philando Castile in all civil legal matters related to his death.

A newly-discovered audio recording appears to shed new light on the traffic stop involving Philando Castile in Minnesota last week, which culminated with him being fatally shot by a police officer.

Luckily, the mother-of-one streamed Philando’s death on Facebook Live, which not only proves that Phil did NOT have a gun in his hands when he was shot, it makes her series of events pretty hard for Minnesota police to refute.

Reynolds, whose 4-year-old daughter was in the backseat when cops killed Castile, said she was taken to a police station after the 9 a.m. shooting and held until 5 a.m.

The attorney also said she would also be contacting the U.S. Department of Justice “because I want to make sure that the federal government is watching closely what has happened and what will happen in this case”.

Without being questioned and in anticipation of the question being asked by reporters, Hatchett said her response to comments made Yanez’s attorney is, “I will see you in court”.

Hatchett is representing the Castile family in the shooting death by police of Philando Castile last week in Falcon Heights, Minn. after a traffic stop by St. Anthony police.

Hatchett says Castile was profiled because of his race.

She was separated from her daughter, was denied food and water and was “treated like a prisoner”, she said a day later.

The officer who killed Castile, Officer Jeronimo Yanez, has been placed on administrative leave. In police scanner audio purported to be of the stop, an officer said: “The driver looks like one of our suspects just (because) of a wide-set nose”.

Records reviewed by The Associated Press show Castile was stopped or ticketed at least 52 times in the Minneapolis-St.

Roseville Police Chief Rick Mathwig said his officers were on scene at the Philando Castile shooting last week
