Philippe Coutinho plays down Paris Saint-Germain transfer speculation
Reports suggest Liverpool rejected an offer of £23million from Paris Saint-Germain for Coutinho but Luis believes the 23-year-old would be a success at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.

However Coutinho, who is now on global duty with Brazil, is adamant there has been no offer from the French capital and his only focused on playing well for his country at the Copa America Centenario.
However, Luis appears to have thrown Atletico’s hat into the ring too after speaking with Coutinho on global duty with Brazil at the Copa America.
He told reporters: “As far as I know, there’s no offer”.
Brazil laboured to a 0-0 draw with Ecuador in their opening match of the campaign and Coutinho was relieved to see his team get off the mark in some style, albeit against one of the tournament’s relative minnows.
He’s now at Copa America with Brazil, and helped his country to coast to a 7-1 Group B victory over Haiti in Orlando on Wednesday, with their final group match to come against Peru on Monday.
“We had a good game and are leaving here happy”, he added.
There was a bit of overreaction in among the praise, of courseBut attention soon turned to fear, with fans hoping Coutinho hasn’t become so good that it’s impossible for the club to hold on to him.

We’d need to at least bring another attacking-mid/winger in to keep our attacking numbers stocked, and even then, who could we sign that’s actually close to Coutinho’s quality? “Peru is a very strong team”.
