Philippine Leader Duterte Calls UN ‘Very Stupid’ For Criticizing His Drug War
De Lima has summoned Philippine National Police Chief, Director-General Ronald “Bato” de la Rosa – a longtime ally of the president – along with human rights groups, lawyers and families of victims to testify.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in June also strongly criticised Duterte, who during the election campaign promised to kill 100,000 people and dump so many bodies in Manila Bay that the fish would grow fat from feeding on them. Dayan told her he had information from some police-friends that people were looking for him and that they intend to raid his house and possibly kill him and make it appear he was armed and resisting arrest.
Mr. Abella said this kind of reaction stems form an “incomprehension” of the Duterte administration’s, saying it is more alarming than the magnitude of the drug menace itself.
“I will show to you”.
His message was in-line with the position of his President.
Duterte said the United Nations had been unable to tackle hunger and terrorism, and called on the body to refund its contribution “so we can go out”.
“No matter how close he is to me, I don’t want to touch on that because it is a personal matter”.
But for the families of those killed, big questions remain. “Take us out of your organization”.
“I will only bring the issue when we are together face to face”, he told reporters late Wednesday night.
However necessary, he added, responses to the illicit drug trade must be carried out in full compliance with national and global obligations and should respect the human rights of each person.
“I would like her to eat it in her presence but I could not do it because it is not an accepted edible food for human beings”, Duterte said.
Above one of the dark alleyways hung a sign reading “drug free zone – user and pushers do not enter”.
His statement comes after United Nations special rapporteur on summary executions Agnes Callamard said on social media that she will be looking at the situation in the country after Malacañang criticized the United Nations for not understanding what was happening on the ground.
The foul-mouthed former Davao city mayor is also known as “The Punisher” over his hardline approach to tackling his trade in his constituency.
Callamard has since said that she “welcomes” any opportunity to investigate the killings on the ground.
“There are misfits in all the structures of our government – law enforcers, prosecutors and judges”.

And yes, Duterte said De Lima has a relationship with her married driver.
