Phillip Phillips And Longtime Girlfriend Tie The Knot
The nuptials were just the start of the celebrations, and the two are continuing their blissful wedding weekend with a Southern-style reception on October 25 before heading out on their honeymoon. The season 11 American Idol victor is known for such hit singles as “Home”, “Gone, Gone, Gone” and ” Raging Fire”. His voice has earned him comparisons to Dave Matthews Band.

Phillips popped the question last Christmas, the newly engaged duo taking to social media to share the good news (and show off the ring, of course).
The couple, who met nearly seven years ago at a charity function, married Saturday night.
‘What I really like most about her is she’s my best pal & I can tell her anything. He just makes each one part make sense for me.’ It’s reported in that the beaming bride was sporting a Hayley Paige wedding gown, while the dashing groom sported a Billy Reid tux as the twosome exchanged customized vows.
The singer confirmed the engagement news by posting a photograph of the pair on Instagram.com, writing, “My best Christmas surprise is happening”.

“She was so excited for me and she helped me out a lot through this”, Phillips told E! “Hopefully she’ll be able to come on tour with me”. It’d be cool to have her there. “Love her, love her to death”.
