Philly’s Eddie Alvarez Wins UFC Lightweight Title
Lesnar is seen in the thick of things as he will still have to get through Mark Hunt at UFC 200 that will take face this weekend for his one-off fight.

Hunt is hoping that Lesnar, a former UFC heavyweight champion, will take an aggressive approach from the get-go as he believes it will make his job easier.
“Without his stable of fighters and his backbone with the Fertittas, I don’t think this company be where it is today and I don’t think anyone out there today can disagree with that”.
“Mark Henry is the brains behind our whole operation”, Alvarez said. I beat him in the prime of my partying. That’s basically what I hope is going to happen.
“I grew up with a wrestling coach who told me, ‘You’ve got to lose before you know how to win.’ There isn’t one human being out there who’s gone undefeated”. Right now, we have the belt and I’m the champion. But Lesnar, who turns 39 three days after UFC 200, could not accept that 12 inches of surgically removed colon would be his final parting blow in UFC.
I am not saying that Brock is never going to return because he is going to be back on TV on July 19. “He’s going to be a tough fight”. That’s why we’re fighting. Whatever he wants to do next, whether fighting again inside the Octagon or taking people to Suplex City, he will do it.
After a short stint of bulking for UFC 197, Jones has put plans in place to be back to his slimmer self for UFC 200.
Brock Lesnar ended his run in the UFC with two straight losses, the last coming against Alistair Overeem in December 2011. However the difference is simple, he has more of a name within the wrestling community and I figure you will get a lot more eyes on this event.
“It haunted me for a long time”, Lesnar.
Where and when is UFC 200? But I pretty much found out it was confirmed at the same time as everyone else did.
“I thought he retired or was sick or something”, said Hunt. Both were incredibly young World Champions, each setting records at the time and both men were a part of the same OVW developmental class alongside John Cena, Batista, and Shelton Benjamin, meaning they know each other very well. “Of course he is”, Lesnar stated.
Lesnar successfully defended his title twice with wins against Frank Mir and Shane Carwin, but a bout with diverticulitis slowed Lesnar’s career down and eventually forced him into retirement.

Lesnar was built to fight to conquer all on a mat, in a ring or inside metal, and no man could cross over genres and collect championships with his ease. “I mean, he’s probably being tested now, but I think everyone should have the same playing field”.
