Here’s one of our favorite poems for fathers. Believe me I knew these guy’s names, their batting average at the time and how many home runs they had during those years.
For various reasons, not everyone will look forward to Father’s Day.
21 years old: Oh, that man. he is out of date! What did you expect? It is a day when you give credit to your dad for all that he has done for you, while not demanding anything in return. I see all the awesome time they share and I look forward to that time in my life. You can also pick up this thing that we all used to rely on called the telephone. He was pretty smart. In particular, I tip my hat to the ranchers who love the land and the livestock and who instill the same passion for agriculture to the next generation. “My husband inspires me”. I’ve forgiven him. I’ve moved forward, reminding myself that looking backward only creates chaos in my head/heart. “They end up with somebody who doesn’t love them”. The positive words our children hear stays with them forever, the negative words they hear can damage them forever.
In Pakistan, there are different ways to mark the day but usually involve personalised gifts, and family gatherings where we laugh, eat and make the fathers feel special on their day.

Men do have a responsibility to support their children, but the truth is that a lot of times those child support checks do not go towards the care of the children because there is absolutely no regulation making sure that they do. Time and time again, kids tell us the big vacations, the fancy cars, the latest computers and smartphones are not almost as important to them as time spent with dad. Clearly it didn’t, but I nearly yearned for him to be as miserable as I was about the situation – that eye-for-an-eye thinking that really didn’t get me anywhere. They are innocent victims of our failed relationships, and they usually wind up suffering the most, many times blaming themselves.
But, unfortunately, the “Johnny Lunchpail” who works very hard to provide the best for his family, send the kids to college and so on, often misses the opportunity to connect on an emotional level with those children. If I did one thing just right in my life, it was convincing that woman to marry me.

A good father always teaches his children to be good to those around them, and never nosy or vindictive. Whether you are a child or an adult who never had the influence of your biological father, my advice to you is that the pain will ease over time. and once you embrace yourself as the wonderful person you are, the concept of no biological father becomes less important as the days go by.
