Photos From Ronda Rousey’s Body Paint Shoot For 2016 Sports Illustrated

Mixed martial arts champion Rousey will be seen in a sensuous avatar as she will be seen covered only in body paint for the annual swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated, Mashable reports.

The guessing game began two days ago when an editor from Sports Illustrated posted the following photograph on Instagram. Alongside a picture of her from the shoot, she posted: “Secret’s out – so here’s a free preview of this year’s 2016 SI swimsuit issue …”

Rousey has said that while growing up, she grew resentful of magazine models because many shots didn’t account for the reality of a woman’s normal-looking body. She’s on a four-fight winning streak and has a chip on her shoulder after being denied a shot at Rousey a year ago.

She is pictured posing on Petite Martinique Island, off the coast of Grenada, with the paint covering her body as if it were a bikini.

Today, however – perhaps due to the release of the paparazzi images – the magazine confirmed that she is coming back for a second year.

Individuals won’t have to succumb to painting their body in order to look like Ronda Rousey did for her SI swimsuit shoot.

The body paint on Rousey’s torso was inspired by a swimsuit designed by Australian label We Are Handsome named “The Fighter”. The actual swimsuit is a one-piece black and white item that retails from more than $250.

Rousey is now enjoying scheduled break, which includes shooting the “Road House” remake and hosting “Saturday Night Live” later this month. It was noticed that a lot has changed when it comes to the attitude of Rousey since her defeat. She doesn’t even want to be seen on cameras that she would hide from them whenever she sees one.
