Piaggio launches Aprilia SR 150 in India priced at Rs 65000
All Aprilia needs to do is launch the scooter in India and that will happen today evening. the This is the first time that Aprilia has introduced a scooter in India.

Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Aprilia has finally seem the moment fit to launch the SR 150 scooter In India, for an introductory price of Rs. 65,000 ex-showroom (Pune).
“It is with great pleasure and humble anticipation that we finally launch the Aprilia SR 150 today and extend our India product portfolio”, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL) Managing Director and CEO Stefano Pelle said. However, the main reason of the SR 150 being into news is due to its price tag.
There are now no competitors for the Aprilia SR 150 in the Indian market, apart from the Vespa, which is again, both brands (Aprilia and Vespa) are owned by Piaggio.
The design aesthetics of the SR 150 reflect the sporty character of the Aprilia brand. The scooter will come in colors of two. The suspension system consists of telescopic forks at the front with spring aided shock-absorbers at the rear.

Other features include a USB charging port and integrated foldable pillion footrests. You can also book the scooter at an amount of Rs 2,000 through Paytm. The SR 150 rides on 14-inch tubeless tyres that offer huge convenience in case of a puncture. Piaggio will be selling the new Aprilia SR 150 through existing Vespa outlets.
