On Monday, Benbrook police Commander David Babcock said: “We have probable cause, reason to believe that she committed the homicides”.

The estranged wife of acclaimed pianist Vadym Kholodenko has been charged with two counts of capital murder after her children were found dead Thursday and she was found with stab wounds that are now believed to have been self-inflicted, police said Monday. “The exact cause of is still not determined by the medical examiners”.

Last Thursday, Mr Kholodenko, 29, called emergency services after finding his 31-year-old estranged wife in an “extreme state of distress”, as well as the bodies of his two children.

Babcock did not provide details about how they died, other than to say they suffered “homicidal violence”. “Mr. Kholodenko was the person who initiated the 911 call yesterday morning at 9:27 a.m. He had an appointment with the mother of the children to pick up the children at 9:20 a.m., which was their regular practice as far as we can tell”.

Bail on each warrant is set at $1 million, Babcock said.

A spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office said Monday that it was “too early to comment”. “She’s still undergoing mental evaluation”.

“I feel the support of the Fort Worth community and all people who are sending me messages all over the world”, he said.

Tarrant County court records reveal the Kholodenko and Tsygankova stopped living together last August after about five years of marriage.

Vadym Kholodenko won the Cliburn piano competition in 2013.

CBS gave viewers a new glimpse into the lives of the Kholdenko sisters from a swim coach who taught the oldest daughter private lessons.

“They seemed like such a wonderful family”, Kholodenko said.
