Picking the perfect Week 1 fantasy football lineup
(My wife would tell you it is not borderline.) Just a few months ago, I was insistent that I not get involved in too many leagues this year.

As of yesterday, I’m in eight different leagues. Did you miss me? It has mushroomed online in recent years, with participants typically creating teams that span an entire season, in major sports including baseball, basketball and hockey.
I was at a draft just this week, when this happened, and due to their unfortunate decisions, I came out of extremely confident in my team.
“No, kiddo, the Honeybadgers played fantasy football and dominated”. Everyone knows the best part of fantasy football is the draft. I give the Packers an 83% chance to win. Don’t copy me after that though, because I assure you, my fantasy luck will have run out at that point. He has huge upside this year and is a safe bet to produce a nice amount for your fantasy team. Cutler may not have Kevin White all year and he won’t have Alshon Jeffery playing at 100 percent this week, if he plays at all. I like my chances against this crew. Don’t let that get you down, because this is a long season and your work is just getting started. Yeldon makes it easy for you.
Mark Ingram, RB C.J. Spiller is not expected to play this weekend, which means that many more touches for Ingram. If you have any helpful fantasy football tips, please leave them in the comment section.
We’ve learned you can hold off on a quarterback, and here’s why: There are only a handful of “studs” who can single-handedly end up winning your league for you.
Who do the numbers say we should roster in Week 2? If it fills quickly, we will likely decide to open it up to more people next week.
We want our readers to be as involved as possible with this new feature. However, Chicago’s front seven looks to be pedestrian this season in its first year in a 3-4 defense. Again, this contest is completely free to enter. Soon you’ll find yourself taking your cellphone to church and sneaking a peak at the National Football League scores during a less-than-dynamic talk from the pulpit or snoozer classroom lesson. The National Football League season is upon us! They are projected as the top scoring offense of Week 1, which may seem a bit baffling when you consider that they’re missing their top running back and a top receiver. If he doesn’t look his normal self, then Davante Adams owners are going to be real happy with snatching him up. Week 1 is not one of those weeks. Cutler, never a guy to put the team on his back, is a player to avoid in Week 1. That entails finding players that have lower fantasy IQs than me.
And I suggest you stop here. At only $6,600, there are 17 other options more expensive than Bridgewater. The preseason felt like it went on forever. Delanie Walker offers great value at a position that is very thin this year.
Bottom line: Don’t hesitate to draft high-risk, high-reward guys once you’ve secured your studs. Granted, it’s the preseason and the Vikings could have been (and probably were) relatively conservative in their play-calling. For now, fantasy remains the NFL’s best friend. There are better defenses on the board, but the Bucs represent the best value. Arguably Teddy’s favorite receiver, Charles Johnson has impressed throughout training camp and the preseason and looks to be Bridgewater’s go-to target.
Soon, I’ll be able to afford having a contractor take down the wall between my kitchen and living room. What does matter is that Ivory’s team is going up against the Cleveland Browns in what should be a Week 1 slopfest between two teams with pretty good defenses and not much offensive identity.

Keep in mind, in Week 1, roles and touches can be tricky to predict. It’s hard to know how the Eagles will share the backfield, or how the Bears replace Kevin White until we have some meaningful football games.
